The town house, which we were happy to convert and refurbish in accordance with preservationist principles, consists of two residential units on four split-level floors.
It is part of a landmarked quarter in the inner block area of the western Lützowstrasse in Tiergarten. The quarter was planned as part of the International Building Exhibition (IBA) in the early 1980s and consists of four rows of houses, which are accessed via two alleyways.
Tailored to the needs of the new residents, we optimized the floor plans including a complete refurbishment of the bathrooms, the kitchen and all surfaces. The project received KfW-funding for energy-related renovation measures such as the installation of new windows.
